Welcome

Welcome to Peace in Christ

Peace in Christ is a small town church with a huge heart. We are all about relationships and being a home where everyone belongs, where hope is not only preached, but lived.  If you are looking for a place to be loved, look no further!

Peace in Christ is a combined Episcopal (Episcopal Diocese of Colorado, ECUSA), and Lutheran (ELCA) congregation.  While there are some differences between our denominations, we celebrate that our unity is in Christ.  We are all a people living in and celebrating the grace of God for all people through Jesus Christ.

Are you searching for meaning and purpose in your life?

Are you looking for a place where no questions are off the table where people  are seeking to grow in love and grace?  A community where people believe God is real, and can be known, but don’t believe they have to have everything pinned down and sorted out? If so, we’d love to welcome you to Peace in Christ, a place where we strive to be people who live out the transforming love and radical welcome that we have found in Jesus Christ, which we believe is on offer for the whole world, including you, wherever and whomever you are.  We come from all walks of life, from lots of different faith communities or none, life-long Episcopalians and people who are just exploring what life with God might be like.  We are seekers and believers, young and old, housed and unhoused, Democrat and Republican, single and long-married, straight, gay and trans, bound together in God’s love, and striving to share that love with everyone and everything around us.  We know the great power that ancient ritual and long-prayed prayers can hold, but we’re open to whatever can draw us more deeply into God’s love and transform our lives.

In short, you are welcome here, no matter where you are on your journey.  We invite you to browse our website, learn more about us, and most especially, we invite you to join us, online and in person.  You are truly welcome here!
