Elizabeth Food Bank
Elizabeth Food Bank is an outreach of Elizabeth Presbyterian Church in partnership with Elizabeth United Methodists, Peace in Christ Episcopal Lutheran Ministry, and other groups wishing to see that no person or family in the Elizabeth area goes hungry.
The food bank is self-sufficient; it does not rely on any government agency. Over its 30-plus years of operation, it has relied only on the generosity of our community – the individuals, businesses, schools, civic organizations, and churches of every denomination that have contributed all the food, money, and volunteers necessary to meet the needs of struggling families.

Wholly Kicks
Wholly Kicks is a non-profit organization whose presence in Aurora, Colorado, and the Denver Metro area, exists for the purpose of “walking with” those in impoverished areas or those at risk of or, experiencing homelessness. Through the distribution of new shoes and socks, the focus of Wholly Kicks is to mentor and build relationships in “walking with” individuals experiencing economic disparity.
Wholly Kicks provides new shoes and socks to children and adults through large events and personal interactions on the street, in shelters, in Title 1 schools, with community non-profits, to case managers, at motels, and low-income housing units.
Rainbow Trail Camp
Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp is an outreach ministry of the Rocky Mountain Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
Rainbow Trail is a year round ministry that offers an extensive summer camping program that includes on-site programs for all ages as well as Compass Points outdoor adventure program for Junior High and Senior High youth, and Bridging Borders mission trips designed for Senior High youth.
In addition, Rainbow Trail offers retreating opportunities for the other nine months of the year including sponsored confirmation retreats, men’s Fly Fishing retreats, church worker training events, and family weekends amongst other retreat opportunities.
